PulseGuard 3.1: Complete SEO Analytics Suite

February 14, 20265 min read

We are excited to announce PulseGuard 3.1, a major expansion of our SEO analytics capabilities. When we launched the SEO Tracker in version 3.0, it focused on keyword ranking via Google Search Console. With 3.1, we have built a complete SEO analytics suite that gives you deep visibility into your search presence.

Backlinks are one of the most important ranking factors, and PulseGuard now monitors your entire backlink profile. Track total backlinks, referring domains, and see which domains link to you the most. Our 30-day new and lost backlink tracking helps you understand how your link profile is evolving over time.

Domain Authority (DA) and Page Authority (PA) are now tracked through our integration with the OpenPageRank API. These metrics provide a standardized way to measure your domain's strength relative to competitors. View historical DA/PA trends and track how your authority scores change over time.

Understanding keyword competitiveness is essential for SEO strategy. PulseGuard 3.1 introduces Keyword Difficulty (KD) and Keyword Volume (KV) metrics. We estimate search volumes from GSC impression data, giving you a practical sense of each keyword's potential traffic value without requiring expensive third-party API subscriptions.

Our new competitor analysis feature lets you add competitor domains and compare their keyword rankings against yours. The keyword gap analysis identifies keywords that your competitors rank for but you do not — surfacing content opportunities you might be missing. This data-driven approach helps you prioritize which keywords to target next.

Data freshness is critical for SEO monitoring. PulseGuard 3.1 adds freshness indicators for every data source: GSC rankings, SERP checks, backlinks, and domain authority. You can see exactly when each data point was last updated and trigger manual refreshes with a 5-minute cooldown to prevent API abuse.

Finally, we have added CSV export for all ranking data. Export keyword, tag, date, position, impressions, clicks, CTR, and data source in a single download. This makes it easy to share SEO progress with stakeholders, import data into spreadsheets, or feed it into other analytics tools.
